We are greatful to our staff for helping us to provide great hospitality.

Innkeeper…

Hospitality has been a tradition in my family for three generations. Grandson to Maria and Peter Caris, this year 2009 marks the 64th year we have been in business. The Caris Landings By the Sea has been a gracious host to many guests through those years. While The Caris Landings remains dedicated to perserving and enhancing the get-away experience, we pride ourselves on the level of comfort and service we provide to all our guests. It is our goal to see people from all walks of life come to this seaside community and have the memorable experiences that only Old Orchard Beach can offer.
Inn-thusiastically,
Dennis L. Caris

Office Manager…

Interns…

Our International interns leave their homes and family and work with us for five months of the year, while our supervisor remains with us year-round. They take great pride in their work and, without them, we could not offer the level of service we do or continue to maintain the high standards we have set for ourselves. Besides their great work ethic, they offer us sunny smiles and upbeat attitudes every day.

Housekeeping…

Our international student staff changes every six to ten months depending on the university program. These young people bring an enthusiasm and energy to the inn that our guests enjoy. We offer them the opportunity to work in America, with a lot of public contact in a small business environment. We enjoy their company and so do our guests.

Grounds Keeper…

Taking care of our grounds is Will ~ maintance man and gardener extraordinaire. Hospitality isn't just welcoming smiles. It includes well-maintained grounds, clearing snow, toilets that flush without overflowing, lights and television that work when you press the switch and well maintained pool during the summer season.
